I went to the auction for the first time in months yesterday. While there wasn’t a ton of stuff that interested me, I was still able to grab a few things that I wanted / needed and got out of there for under twenty bucks. 
I bought a box full of crap for five bucks that contained a new molded wood toilet seat that I needed, as well as a generic pink Snuggie and pink fuzzy socks for Cassi. 
I also got two small wire stands… one of which I’m gonna use in the living room next to my big chair to hold all the remote controls.
My biggest purchase of the night was a 500g external USB HD (with an additional loose 120g one) for ten bucks. I already have one for backing up my photos and videos, but it never hurts to have a backup for the backup. 
As soon as I woke up today I started working around the house. Just little bits at a time, unpacking this and that, trying to get a little more of my stuff out of the way if not actually put away. Once I get that stuff taken care of, I can really start giving these rooms a good cleaning before I start setting everything up the way that I will eventually be leaving it.
These past few weeks have really taken a toll on me though. 
I’m glad things will be settling down soon, because I don’t think my neck and shoulder are gonna let me get away with doing so much “stuff” for much longer. Already waking up with “frozen neck” again, something that hasn’t happened for a long time, so I know that I’ve been overdoing it lately. For the greater good.
