I made the mistake of going into the Lancaster Eagle Gazette forums a bit ago, where I read the comments that people are posting about the proposed location of Pearl House, a residential recovery type center for recovering drug and alcohol addicts and their families.
Yet again I find myself with an opinion that lands right in the middle of so many extreme “one way or the other” views...

Some people were reporting that the videos and images were loading slowly in version 1.0, so I changed some of the code and enabled some different video and photo browsing modes. Videos also now stream in either low or high quality depending on the speed your connection.

February 26, 2012 -- Last Hoorah
A bunch of us went out to Locker 8 last night for karaoke. I’m glad Gen was able to make it out with us, since she got to see Big Papa Pump again too… heh… the DJ that did karaoke most of the time when we used to go out together.

February 25, 2012 -- Alarm Clock
I can tell this cat isn’t used to someone that keeps a “nightshift” sleeping schedule. More than a few times throughout the early morning she’d jump up on the bed and scare the piss out of me, either checking to see if I was dead, or encouraging me to get up and pay attention to her.
As long as I don’t move she will usually go away after a minute or two.

February 21, 2012 -- Adapting
Since I’ve decided to dump my Blockbuster combo pass in favor of SiriusXM radio, I’m also taking steps to make sure I get the most value out of it. I’m gonna pay the extra couple of bucks a month to stream satellite radio on the PC, and I just ordered a USB FM transmitter off of eBay for eight bucks.

I got the uber-wide angle lens that I ordered in the mail today, and it is now on the webcam.
I also got a $260 check from AEP for some reason. (I’m not asking any questions… heh)

I love Ohio sometimes. Where else can you fall asleep at dawn to frozen driveways, snow covered lawns, black ice covered roads… and then wake up in the afternoon to all of that melted, and the temperatures actually warm enough for crazy people like me to open up the storm doors to let some fresh air in.
I feel like I fell asleep in the winter and woke up in the spring.

February 13, 2012 -- Progress
So far today has been all about gettin’ stuff done.
I had to wake up at the crack of dawn so I’d be awake for when the plumbers arrived, and right around 9:30am they rolled up and started working. Within the first 15 minutes they had removed the old sink from the kitchen counter and had started working on replacing all the drainage pipes underneath.

February 9, 2012 -- Remedy
Yesterday was a wash for me. Awake a few hours, asleep a few hours, awake a few hours… never giving me the energy to really get up and do anything.
There’s two ways I can usually fix this. Either force myself to stay awake as long as I can, then my body will have to sleep a good amount, or just force myself to sleep with a couple Tylenol PMs and see if that works.
